What Makes Up a Personal Computer?

Parts of a Personal Computer:-

Actually a computer consist various parts and each of them performs their own and specific function for which they are created. But some important parts of computer are:-

• Monitor
• Central Processing Unit (System unit)
• Keyboard
• Mouse
• Printer

There are many more parts of computer but these are some important parts.

Connecting the Personal Computer:-

By reading these following points you will be able to understand how these parts are connected to each other through cables.

• The System unit (CPU) is connected to power supply.
• The Monitor is connected to System unit and to the power supply.
• The Keyboard is connected to System unit.
•  The Mouse is connected to System unit.
• The Printer is connected to System unit and to the power supply.
• Other hardware devices are connected to System unit and to the power supply.

The Input-Process-Output cycle:-

Computer follows the Input-Process-Output principle to perform any task.

In which Input devices are the medium through which we can provide raw material to the computer.

The System unit (CPU) then processes the inputted raw material and after processing the raw material it passes it to the Output devices.

And then the Output devices give the Output.

 The time elapsed to perform this task totally depends upon the nature of task.
